The objective of the Robot-X project is to streamline the integration of robotic systems across various industries, ensuring accessibility for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to tailored automation solutions. This entails the development of model-based system development methodologies and the utilization of artificial intelligence for decision-making processes.
Key to the Robot-X project is the creation of open-source components within the framework of the Industry 4.0 platform, enabling the utilization of digital twins throughout all stages of the product lifecycle. Central to this framework is the adoption of administration shells (AAS) and the seamless integration of Catena-X solutions, facilitating secure and standardized data exchange across the supply chain via protected data rooms. Leveraging the secure and decentralized data space provided by Catena-X enables the efficient development and reuse of certifiable components, ultimately enabling the rapid and cost-effective deployment of high-quality robotic solutions.
Robot-X aims to showcase its versatility and potential through the implementation of four cross-industry application scenarios.
