IMC-AESOP
IMC-AESOP was a project funded by the European Commission within the 7th Framework Programme, which was based on the co-operation of German, French, English, Italian, Swedish, Finish and Czech partners. IMC-AESOP envisioned, designed, implemented and demonstrated a Service-oriented Architecture approach for the monitoring and control of Process Control applications (batch and continuous process). The research, carried out by ifak, was concentrated on the integration (commissioning, operation and management) of classical automation systems and components into service oriented architectures.
