The objective of the research project is to investigate a central, superior coexistence management and cognitive medium control algorithms for industrial communication networks. Especially challenges of future concepts of advanced production will be considered.
ifak is responsible for the requirement engineering. For the concept development ifak will especially focus on the specification of services and protocols for information exchange between all instances in a superior coexistence management process. Another key aspect of ifak is the validation of the developed coexistence management and cognitive medium control algorithms. Challenging coexistence scenarios will be specified. A platform and equipment will be used for the validation.
