Against the background of increasing the attractiveness of public transportation, the goal of the joint project SMueR is to develop a modular concept for smart mobility stations as a connected interface between public and individual modes of transportation in rural areas. In addition to physical components, digital interfaces are to be created for a prototype, with the help of which real-time data (e.g. passenger information, utilization of parking facilities, etc.) can be transmitted and embedded in mobility apps. For this purpose, ifak is developing the data acquisition concept, the determination of requirements including the selection of sensors and their integration into the overall system. The networking of the components of the information and communication technology includes, in addition to the data transmission from the acquisition sensors to the data platform, the processing in a backend system as well as functions for the dissemination and presentation of all relevant information by means of a user interface to be developed.
